Creation Reprographics, a leader in high-quality reprographics and platemaking for the food and beverage packaging industry, is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to take the reins as Plateroom Manager.

About the Role

As Plateroom Manager, you will lead a skilled and dedicated team responsible for producing photopolymer plates for print production. This role is pivotal in ensuring both the quality and efficiency of the platemaking operation. You’ll work cross-functionally with Planning, Engineering, HR, and Health & Safety teams to drive performance, meet tight deadlines, and ensure compliance across the board.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the platemaking team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of print-ready plates
Monitor departmental KPIs and drive continuous improvement
Conduct annual Personal Development Reviews and lead disciplinary processes with HR support
Collaborate with the planning team to minimise lead times and meet client expectations
Oversee engineering requirements via internal MIS system to ensure smooth, uninterrupted production
Maintain up-to-date risk assessments and ensure workplace safety
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure optimal production flow
Accurately input and maintain data in the Management Information System

What We’re Looking For

Essential Aptitudes:

Demonstrated team management and leadership experience
Strong organisational and analytical thinking
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with IT systems including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and MIS systems
