Join the Heart of Print Production: Repro/Prepress Operator Vacancy

Creation Reprographics is looking to expand its talented team with the addition of a Repro/Prepress Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual to join a fast-paced production environment serving the food and beverage packaging sector.

About the Role

Working from our Northampton-based studio, you’ll play a key role in preparing and processing print-ready artwork across a variety of packaging and labelling formats. You’ll receive dedicated one-on-one training from the Studio Manager, with the goal of developing you into a confident, independent operator managing projects from start to finish.

This role offers the chance to work with leading software, collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, and contribute to the high standards Creation Reprographics is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and adjust artwork for print production across multiple formats
Check incoming files for accuracy and ensure they are production-ready
Create and proof artwork in line with customer specifications and deadlines
Input accurate job data into our Management Information System
Liaise with the Studio Manager, customer services team, and clients to ensure timelines are met
Assist in production planning and plate ordering
Send approved jobs to digital press or platemaking systems

What We’re Looking For

Essential Aptitudes:

High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Solid IT literacy (Outlook, Excel) and willingness to learn bespoke systems
Experience of using Esko software (including Automation Engine and ArtPro) and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong team player with the ability to manage tasks independently
